Uncle Ed's continues to a amaze me. I feel like family when I go in. You are always fast, friendly, and fair. Today was exceptional. I had a problem with the headlight on my wife's 1999 Mazda Miata. Not only was the bulb replaced but Andrew W and Ryan H spent well over one hour (the shop was not busy) tracking down and fixing an electrical problem - no extra charge. This is why it feels like family whenever I go in. So if it is really like family at corporate you need to reward these two exemplary employees.They did not need to go out of their way, but because they did, I will go out of my way recommending Uncle Ed's whenever possible. Reward them for their judgement, professionalism, and business smarts - they are family after all!

I was not shown the oil filter before it was put on and I upgraded to a high efficient filter. I am also not 100% certain that all four of my tires pressure was checked as I needed to ask 3 different times, someone said yes, they were checked, another person said they are all set at 35 and then the last gent said one was at 40 psi. I asked 40 now or when they were checked. It was just not a clear statement. I was also not taken through my invoice to discuss all services performed on my vehicle. I had to ask if the oil and fluids were all checked as I don't know if I was there for more than 5 minutes.

I will never return or recommend Uncle Ed's. One of the technicians was rude and very short with me. I explained to the first technician that my infant (7 weeks old) was in the back seat and since it was so cold out I did not want to leave my window open, he said no problem. I turned my car off, but left my battery on so I could open and close my window if a technician came over. The tech that came over to finish rudely told me to turn off my car, even though it was just the battery that was on, and did not allow me to explain why I did not want to leave my window open, he just barked at me that I needed to turn my car off.

There was a little residual oil dripping from the skid plate left on my driveway and in my garage that I feel could have been wiped off better before leaving the shop but it’s typical for Subaru’s (vehicles with skid plates) and hopefully not going to continue to leak too much more.

Randy and Aaron did a fantastic job servicing my vehicle. They were both friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. It was highly recommended that I do an engine clean and because I trust Randy's professional judgment, I had it done. Aaron advised me that my driver's side rear tire was a little low in air and showed me that the little green cap was broken and he replaced it. It is those small things, paying attention to detail that makes Aaron a great asset to your business as well. Please know I highly recommend Uncle Ed's to family and friends! Oh yes, and Andrew was polite and friendly as always even though he was busy cleaning up the shop and organizing the shelves - he still took time to come over to me and say hello! The energy that was there - especially on a Sunday - close to closing was fantastic! That is why I would come back
- however- they where also letting me know about other things in my vehicle- I chose not to do everything but the attitude of them didn't make me feel as though I was making a bad decision -or feel guilty- with all the quick oil change outlets out there - I will definitely come back - because of the personalities of Darius and the other (don't know their names or they would be called out also) attendants!! They charged me an extra $8 for something that I didnt need and when I had asked for them to explain what the charges were the manager did help and had the other guy take off the $8. When he took it off, he came back and said that if he takes off the $8, it would not give me my $10 off anymore for being a new customer because it would recognize me in the system. I said "well thats not fair because you messed it up". Well, he did fix it but could only give me $8 off, which was the $8 taken off for the blade he charged me for. And I never got my $10 off for being a new customer. I said it was his fault and he got an attitude and said "oh well". So I will not be back again.

Windows not cleaned well this visit, which is unusual but may be due to using a tool rather than a cloth. Also, there was no attempt to check the cabin air filter, although I routinely fail to purchase a new one (my middle school sons do this for me). But I expect that it is at least offered. Asst Mgr Aaron friendly, providing information without upselling me (I appreciate this). As always, great team effort and I value the final inspection with loud callouts as each person checks the quality. Great job!

I came in specifically with a $20 discounted oil change coupon that was good throughout the month, but was told that because I was a new customer I was only allowed a $10 new customer coupon. I was told this at the end of the visit, and didn't want to argue. This was also after I was told I'd be able to use the original $20 coupon. I appreciate the discount, but was denied my original coupon request just because I was a new customer. Seems a little shady and dishonest. Service was fine, however.

I have to admit that I am concerned about my experience. I am a 45 year old man who has owned many vehicles. There is a trend that does not seem to make sense. Three of my last five visits I was told my radiator fluid is low. This is rare for me with my vehicles.
2010 Dodge G. Caravan (100,000 miles)
7/25/16 - Told radiator fluid is quart low and that I need a new cap. Purchased both.
11/6/16 - Told radiator fluid is quart low.
2014 Chevy Cruze (less than 20,000 miles)
Today - Told radiator fluid is a quart low.
I keep records of all maintenance and repairs. I have spread sheets for my last five vehicles. I searched these and the only time I've ever had someone tell me one of my vehicles was a quart low on radiator fluid has been at this store... Three of my last five visits... One on a car with less than 20,000 miles. Both cars had been served/inspected less than two months before by other shops who noted the fluid was full.
This just looks bad. I didn't doubt the 7/25/16 finding. The second one on the Dodge was suspect. This first one on the Cruze is glaring.

The service has gone down hill at this location store#1126. The last time I had an oil change, I had a leak because the tech was "new" and put the oil filter in improperly. It was corrected by more professional tech at no additional cost. However, this last visit tech was more interested in trying to sell me wiper blades that are less than 3 months old and purchased there, bringing me my oil cap and saying "well, this is disgusting, are we taking care of this today for you, clean this out?" Told me I needed an air filter when George the manager already told me I didn't. Also tried to charge me for a quart of coolant. When George had already told me that the gauge was wrong and I wasn't that low and he just needed to top me off. I had to ask for my tire pressure three times. And Finally someone checked my tires right before cash out and they were all very low and had I not reminded no one would have checked and filled them.

I've used this Uncle Ed's oil shop for the past seven years or so. I've been very pleased with their service and pleasantly surprised to see that they constantly work on improving their customer's experience. I've never had a problem with this store and I know that my Ford dealership is unhappy that I get my car serviced here instead of with Ford. However, it always takes much longer to change my car's oil at my Ford dealership, and while I have the option to just "drop in" during the day, they're usually so busy that my wait is even longer.

I was charged for skid plate removal which I was told would be removed from the final charge. I would like that money back. Despite new tires and new wipers, I was asked if I wanted to change wipers, and the manager said "I see you're just using air in your tires" when they were in fact filled with Nitrogen since they are brand new... The attempt to up-charge is ridiculous. I was also pushed for a trans fluid change since the interval is 30,000 miles, according to Uncle Eds. According to ford, it's 150,000 miles, and I had mine changed just 45k miles ago. Come on!

I have to commend the employee that was down in the pit. He took the time to come up and tell me that I had a broken right sway bar link on my suspension. I was planning on going to the U.P., and might have been stranded if I did not have it repaired prior to my trip. I'm sorry I didn't think to ask his name. I had $19.77 in rewards that was supposed to be deducted from my bill. The rewards were activated through my computer. However, the rewards did not transmit to Uncle Ed's system and the technician was unable to deduct my rewards. I was informed I was able to use the rewards in my email. After my visit, my rewards amount was reset to a lower amount based on this current service.. I didn't even get a chance to use my original amount of $19.77. Please send me a check for $19.77. Coupons do not help because I already use the $20 off coupons. Other than that, the service was great.

Tried to collect my reward points from a visit one week earlier and told that I was supposed to carry around some sort of activation code despite fact that email sent to me told that my points credit would automatically be applied on next visit. Tech called for account number and claimed cannot find account to give points. Will have to call corporate office to try and find account. Do you really think that customers have nothing better to do but carry around some code number to get a promised credit for a prior visit even after they bring in the coupons you sent them? Asking a lot, eh?

I was very dissatisfied with the job that your service team performed on my last visit on February 14th 2017. I came in for an oil change and upon the recommendation by your service advisor to get my radiator fluid changed I approved the job. However your service team rushed through while performing the service and upon I left the shop I noticed my vehicle temperature gauge shot up to overheating. I pulled up to the side of the freeway and called the shop, the shop's Assistant Manager Roy drove to my location to checkout the issue and since it was gettting very cold because of having the windows down I decided to turn on my heater, however the vent was only blowing cold air which wasn't an issue before bringing my car for service. The assistant Manager poured some cold water to top of the radiator fluid and informed me that the issue was being caused by an air bubble that formed up in the radiator. He requested me to drive back to the shop so that the can take a better look at the problem. I drove back to the shop where the service team evaluated the issue one more time and found that the air bubble was created because the service team did not run the engine to make sure the radiator fluid circulated through the whole system and because of that the thermostat was detecting a faulty reading. I ended up wasting most of my precious time working on a problem that could've been easily avoided and because of I don't foresee myself coming back to Ucle Ed's for future services.

I like to get a good look at the oil level...in good light...at the end of the visit....I would give additional 90-120 seconds after turning off the engine to allow the oil to drain into the crankcase.....more accurate that checking level right after turning the motor off. I've been back on 2 occasions to Ed's over the past 20 years with excess oil in the crankcase which needed to be drained.

Two issues: 1) I am not convinced all tire pressures were checked. I only saw the technician checking the 2 left tires. My low tire pressure light was on when I arrived and when I went home where I inflated front right tire to correct pressure. 2) Too many techs work on one car and multiple cars at the same time. The engine compartment latch was removed by one tech and not replaced by the second one because she did not know it existed and had been set aside. As I arrived at home my wife received a call that part of my car was still in the shop. That necessitated a return trip. Easy to understand how it happened but likely would not if not so many persons working on one car. I'm beginning to think quality has dropped since I first started using Uncle Ed's.

When the torque spec on the drain plug is 25 foot pounds, it shouldn't be enough force to move the vehicle when i was sitting in it. Thanks for the oil leak

I have been coming to this Uncle Eds for several years. The staff (managers, service technicians and advisers) have always been very helpful and professional. I have been impressed with the courtesy and professionalism at each visit. This is my 3rd or 4th visit and I have been impressed every time with the way the team members address one another and speak to me. It's rare these days to receive such kind and courteous treatment. I feel they take pride in their work and in their customers. Aaron D. was really careful to explain things to me, without any pressure. He also pointed out a bulge he noticed in my tire's sidewall and I ended up taking my car to the tire store where they replaced the tire I had purchased from them. I feel Uncle Ed's has really set the bar high for any other service stations. This store, at least, has my respect. The manager seems to care about his team members, too, and as someone who works on a team in my own professional life, I appreciate that approach very much. Please don't change anything. i went to this location real quick on 5/19/16 to get my oil changed. the experience was very nice and easy and fast and had 5 or so people working on my car since i was the only one there. they finished up my oil change and everything was done and they told me to have a good day and i left with 4.76 quarts of oil in my engine and a new oil filter and air filter and some inspections and other stuff. then while driving down the road i discovered THEY FORGOT TO CHARGE ME basically giving me a free oil change and oil filter and air filter change. then i had to turn back around and tell them that they forgot to charge me. apparently what happened was one person told the other to cash me out and the other thought i did but none of the 5 people did. so they told me the total $91.86 for an oil change that is ridiculous for a little 2009 Chevy aveo to get a oil change i don't know how they justify $28 for a cheap Auto Zone air filter and $46 for just under 5 quarts of conventional oil so to uncle eds i will NOT be returning because the price for this was WAY to high. and you might want to tell your techs to pay more attention to charging your customers because it would have been better to not turn around and pay nearly $100 for a $40 job. i am giving this post a 1 star for the good customer service but that is all since it was outrageously pricey and they forgot to charge me making me go back and pay.

It took three visits to get my oil changed. 4pm Friday, oil filter not available. Said it will be in by Saturday from O'Reillys. I come in Sunday morning, no oil filter. Gave them my number, came back on Sunday afternoon at 4pm when they called. Almost 48 hours later for a 10 minute oil change. Then we couldn't locate the pre-paid oil change that they were able to find two days prior. On top of all this I had to pay for another quart of oil and a skid plate removal charge. I think they sensed my frustration and only charged me for the oil. The skid plate is missing two bolts. No one else has been under the car since the last oil change. The skid plate has six bolts. Only two were fastened from the last visit, as I found out later when it was dragging under the car five miles from the shop I just left. If it wasn't for this pre-paid oil change, I wouldn't have come back. And to have me do it three times to get it right sealed the deal to not have me come back ever.

Overall service was fine, however as I pulled away I realized my tire pressure was low and the caps had not been returned to my tires after my nitro exchange. Because of how busy the shop was all day I avoided waiting in the line of cars to get it rectified until a day later. My tires pressure was left 7 psi low when leaving the shop. Luckily I was welcomed in 30 min after closing on Sunday to get a top up and get my caps put back on.

I initially came in with a brake light out, so easy enough fix. Turns out my service technicians found that the radiator resevior was completely melted. Not only did they give me guidance on how best to get the replacement piece, but they offered to put it in for free. Being someone who really lacks experience with car maintenance, I appreciated the step-by-step guidance and friendliness each staff member gave me, particularly Joel F (who was my main service technician). He was so amazing to help me out.

While the technician was filling my tires, he broke the valve stem on one of them. They were kind enough to put the spare tire on for me. However, I immediately had to go to the tire shop and have it fixed, which cost me $60. I feel that perhaps I should be reimbursed for this since it was one of the technicians who broke it.

Aside from needing an oil change I was having issues with my heating system; a certified dealership wanted to charge $110 just to look at it. Joel told me he had a feeling it was the coolant levels, and lo and behold he was right! I was happy to spend $330.00 on maintenance at Uncle Ed's instead of getting jerked around at Chevy. for the past 10 years in the quiet of my yard so the environment of all that loud verbal communication among the young workers was a bit chaotic for me.

The only reason I came back was to use my prepaid oil change on my pickup. The disastrous oil change on my Cadillac last week plus the lack of follow up by the manager who was supposed to call me after that issue (and did not!) has me looking for a new place to get my oil changed for the first time in nearly 20 years. I was willing to overlook the Cadillac issue but when the manager did not follow up as promised along with his practiced apology when we spoke during this oil change changed my mind. I'll take my business elsewhere.

I paid in advance for an oil change. I dislike the constant offers during my visit and when I pay for an oil change, it should cover the entire cost of the oil change. I don't want to be charged for removing the guard plate on my car or for an additional quart of oil. If you offer a special, include everything. My husband and I have been a customer for a long time and I really do not like all the added expenses. I will try another company for my service next time.

i find the continued sales pitch to be annoying...asked in the beginning of visit what could be done for me today....basic oil change, check fluids and tires. When I made a casual comment about how much I liked my Escape, but that the running boards had rusted off, leaving dangerous metal mounts protruding from the undercarriage, Jeris took a look and said he thought they could have them off. He and Roy got them unbolted and disposed of -- solving a nagging safety concern of mine. They did this without my asking, showing excellent customer service. Kudos to them. While I've been a regular customer of this Ed's location since the mid 1990s, I've been known to go elsewhere for a better price. I'm curious -- how many times does a customer need to decline a service before the trainee assistant manager stops asking? When I visited today, it took me three times. Three days before Christmas, giving the answer once to the offer of an extra service by saying, "I'd like to wait until after Christmas," should be sufficient. (Surely I can't be the only American who has wanted to hold off on a service until after a gift-heavy holiday and/or payday?)
After the third ask (and my second decline), I said, "Are you hearing that I would like to wait until after Christmas?" And the response from the trainee assistant manager said something like, "It's already over. It went right past me."
At the lack of sounding smart-alecky, I noticed.
As a female customer in a male shop, I should never have to have the urge to say, "No means no." But I sure wanted to, because it's disrespectful to challenge my decision, even if you disagree with it and it signals that you're either not listening (which he clearly admitted he wasn't) or that you don't trust your customer.
Asking again and again doesn't feel like great service -- it feels like unwanted upselling by someone ... who seals the deal by coming right out and admittig he's not listening.

I'm not an environmentalist, more a businessman. I think you need to examine the 3,000 mile oil change interval and how that affects your business before you're forced to change it. Most cars, including this Mazda are well above the 3,000 mile recommended interval. My Porsche and BMW are well over 10k. When the environmentalist get a hold of this, you'll have a harder time to convince people to change their oil every 3,000 miles. Might as well build your future business with longer intervals in place. You have time to build a strategy to embrace recycling the oil, prolonging the use of fossil fuel...etc.

Your services are way over priced. Last time, the technician tried to sell me an interior air filter for $40! I found the same one on Amazin for $6. Based on the time it took him to check it, I'm guessing 5 minutes maximum for installation. That's highway robbery. As a result, I only trust Eds for oil change. I can't imagine how much other services are overpriced. It's unethical since 99% of people don't know how much this stuff costs.

I have taken both of my vehicles to this location for many years. Always friendly with great service but this time I was in there for an oil change and transmission flush and ended up being there for just over an hour. Plus I had to remind them 4 different times to check my tire pressure. When Jorge, the Manager, was checking me out he went thru their check point list and said they checked my tires and they were all fine. Jorge seemed to be very disorganized compared to the other managers I have gotten to know over the years that I have been coming. Needless to say I knew one of the tires was low and after 4 times reminding them they never checked it. Very Disappointing!

I have always gone to Valvoline in the past. My last visit to them 2 1/2 years ago they stripped my drain plug and put a Heliacoil (sp?) in. The bolt blew out while driving and blew the engine. It was on a spare car that rarely gets driven so when this happened it had been nearly 5-6 months since the oil change and we could not prove what happened but there was no doubt to us since they were the only ones that ever did oil changes on that car. There was no other way for that Heliacoil to get put in the drain plug. After that I vowed NEVER to go to a quick oil change again and have not.I was so over due this time I stopped at Uncle Ed's and the guys there were great. I even bought my NEXT oil change in advance from them. Great job guys!

I have to say that this was not my favorite visit. Generally everything runs very nicely. Yesterday, they didn't have my filter in stock, they didn't have the reminder sticker in stock and it took OVER an hour AFTER I pulled into the bay. The filter had to be delivered from O'Reilly's auto parts. How an oil change shop runs out of reminder stickers... not quite sure. If it weren't for the amazing customer service I usually get and how friendly everyone still was yesterday... I cannot say I would return. The person that was with me had never been to an Uncle Eds before... She is not convinced this was a one time deal.

The service was very good, but there were two errors made that bummed me out a little. First, I heard the tech under my his call out "all clear! No tools or towels", only for the guy at the podium (Jordan) to walk around a pull a towel off my engine and throw it in the tech's face. After that, the 19 point inspection started out with me finding out that the wrong oil had been put in my car. Again, it was fixed immediately, but not the best service.

I felt as though the gentlemen were just trying to continue to sell things to me and I continually repeated that I just needed the oil changed and that was it. They presented different things to me and stated that I should be very concerned and that my car was dangerous when I get it serviced by a dealership on a regular basis. They made me feel overall uneasy and uncomfortable and like they were trying to pressure me into getting services completed.
The price was also extremely expensive.

Service techs were very polite and courteous. A little rough on the air filter removal in that it was torn when being reinstalled in order to get the car to start. Filter prices are a little high. I generally change filters myself and know that the air and cabin filter costs for this car are $10 and $16 respectively versus the $17 and $30 I was quoted. I understand you have to pay your techs to inspec, reinstall, but would get more peopel to purchase if the cost was lower and they had to trade their time for the few dollars in profit. Most people do not know this, so I guess that might be what you are counting on. I felt that the explanations regarding what was "for sure going to go wrong on my car, ie with this model and engine", was stated with too much confidence and certainty. I have worked on cars for a long time and come from a family of mechanics and know that yes some things go wrong, but I bought this car for my daughter based on my experience with the motor / tranny combination and they are very solid. I know you need to sell parts and service, but to state that certain things "will go wrong, it is just a matter of time" is a little close to a scare tactic for a person that does not know anything about a car. I understand the fluid exchanges as they are just communicating the manufacturers reccommendations, but other items are a little too much. I only change my oil this way since it is now such a hassle to dispose of the used fluids. I think it would go a long ways to your benefit if you were to use a little discretion on what you try to push for a sell, ie a very old car with high mileage should proably not have over $500 in fluid exchanges pushed on it every time it comes in. In many cases at that age and the way most people treat used cars, the exchanges will probably cause more harm than good. Anyway the overall experience was not bad as they took my replies as is and did not push or try to make me feel like I was an idiot for not doing what was suggested.

Ian and Ian are very customer-focused and professional. One issue that could be improved is communication. During the safety check, a corner light being out was noticed, but not communicated to the Asst Mgr, when he went to call my fleet company, so I did not get it repaired.
Assistant Manager Ian always looks out for the safety of the driver and the items needed to be repaired, even if it is not approved by Fleet. His notes in the system remind the next mechanic, that this is an additional area to review on my next visit. Ian is very good with Ford computers, and always assists in fixing my oil expiration info.

Every time I visit Uncle Eds I feel a little scammed. They are always pushing me to buy additional stuff, maybe some times needed, many times not. This last visit they took out my glove box and told me I needed a filter that was behind it. In 13 years of coming there they have never done that. Nitrogen in my tires instead of air, BS. The only reason for that was to charge me nine extra bucks. After 13 years I think I take my business somewhere else. Thanks, but no thanks.

I really like Uncle Ed's and go out of my way to go there (instead of Victory Lane). I often feel like I'm being upsold -- the premium filter, extra services -- but the team respects a "no." This visit was my second in a week for two different cars. Same bay, different car. Both experiences were very positive.

I was shocked by how much the oil change was. I also didn't like the up sells. If I accepted every suggestion, my bill for an oil change would have been over $300! I just came in for an oil change, not a whole car tune up. I was expecting $35, maybe $50. Your crew was very nice and professional...but almost too sappy in their approach...kind of like fake, Disney World nice; not authentic.

When I first pulled in I was the only vehicle there and it still took upwards of 25 minutes for the "10 minute oil change." I told the person that came up to me that I normally use 5W20 semi-synthetic. When he told me that was $68 I was FLOORED. Nearly $70 for an oil change? I can and have had it done at other places including dealerships for $30 or less. I told him to nevermind and just use the conventional oil. He said that was $40 something and I still thought WOW but o.k. I'm already here and I need to be to work soon. I understand that you're there to make money and I understand the need to upsell but most people including myself don't want to be bombarded with a ton of stuff i.e. nitrogen, bulbs, a cabin air filter that my car needed and had and then supposedly didn't even have one anyways, and then the power steering flush that was needed but on my sheet was marked that it wasn't even checked. I will give you that everyone I dealt with was very polite but as far as price/value, length of time and constant upselling, I will never visit another one of Uncle Ed's Oil Shoppes again.

I've been going to Uncle Ed's on Stadium Drive consistently for the last year. The techs are friendly, informative, and efficient. Though the cross-selling is a little annoying when I can only afford the oil change, the information is great for future planning for services (like transmission fluid change or radiator fluid exchange). Great people and always a good experience!!

The only reason it wasn't 'fast' was because I had to get my transmission fluid fixed. The crew was still pretty quick and I watch them move through a bunch of customers with professionalism and speed during my time there. I love the check downs at the end with the whole crew going 'no tools - NO TOOLS, no towels - NO TOWELS' it's a great shop.

I came in with all the bays empty. Staff was very friendly, but extremely slow with my car. The other bays filled up and LEFT before mine was finally finished, after 30 minutes. I had no extra services except one wiper blade replaced.
I have used Uncle Ed's since 1989, when I moved back to Michigan. Your sign still says 10 Minute Oil Change, even though that rarely happens. With that, I have never complained about the wait - until now. Between the disorganization and attending to others who arrived long after I did, and the incessant priming to buy more and more services (even after saying that I was not interested in any service yesterday due to time), your company needs to consider the priorities of the customer and their time. Everyone was very nice and thorough in explaining everything that they were inspecting. They let me know of certain things that could be replaced but they were not pushy. The oil change tech pulled my truck in when I wasn't comfortable making the turn into the shop and didn't make me feel embarrassed. He was very nice and wished me a safe trip on my vacation. I have been coming to Uncle Ed's for years! I miss the coupons that I used to get mailed to me. Also I am thinking about not coming back because I never get out of the place under $200. I know that makes you happy. Today they went inside my glove box and showed me a "cabin" filter. Of course I never knew that was there and it was full of leaves and dirt - $44 really?! Okay today it was $287. I remember when an oil change at Uncle Ed's was around $40. I just can't afford $200 every time I am there.

I spent $330 dollars on this visit. I originally just planned to get an oil change during this visit as I needed to save money to address 2 other issues, heater not working, and oil pan gasket leaking. Ian, the asst. mgr. was amazing, he offered to do everything that is always offered, but then he mentioned that there was a cabin air filter and that he needed to check it. It is accessed from in the van and when he unfastened it, dirt fell on the floor of passenger side, the filter could not have been more dirty, also the radiator cap was not sealing properly as Ian pointed out so I bought a new radiator cap and cabin filter which fixed the heater problem. He also upsold me on a stop leak product that may seal the oil pan leak I have. I was so happy and not spending 250 to get the oil pan gasket fixed and not spending 600 to have a heater core installed to fix heater, I agreed to Auqapel, an oil flush, and a radiator flush. I hardly ever say yes to upsells unless I think it is needed. I said yes because it fixed or had the potential to fix very expensive problems.
Ian personally made a difference with his open friendly attitude and the other 2 employees were just as friendly and helpful, It is a fact that sharing personal experiences creates intimacy, even if it the sharing is about heaters LOL and a trusted partner. I was saying I drive too much to lease a car and Ian even told me of a customer he has the drives a lot of miles too that gets regular top shelf maintenance done and in return the dealership reimburses for it and takes it into acct when turning in the lease for going over mileage limits. So I am going to check into this.
This experience was the best I ever had at an oil change shop. The second best is when I was at this store a few months ago with another of our vehicles, and Ian helped then too, my truck was running "rough". The guys diagnosed the problem correctly as a vacuum hose and since UE's doesn't sell vacuum hoses, they taped over the hole and had me running good as new again.
I know the money I spend on preventative maintenance at Uncle Ed's SAVES me money. I have 2 vehicles that we put on over 30,000 miles a year each. I am an Uncle Ed's customer for a long time to come thanks to the mgt and crew at the Ann Arbor Michigan store.
