Over the River and Through the Woods
Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukah, or any other winter holiday, it's the time of year where travel is on almost everyone's mind. Surprisingly, Thanksgiving actually has the most travel among Americans with a 54% spike in personal travel. Christmas comes in second with a 23% increase. According to the Bureau of Transportation, 91% of that travel is done with a personal vehicle. We take pride in getting our customers on the road safely and quickly as they travel to visit their loved ones.
This year's travels are shaping up to be a little different. Usually, its a lot of talk of ice and snow, but things are looking a little greener this year. As much as most of us love a white Christmas, it looks like we will actually have to just dream about it. That doesn't put us all in the clear though. Rain and fog may still keep Rudolph busy this year. Uncle Ed’s carries two different types of wiper blades at every location in case you need to stop in for some new blades. We’d love to get them installed for you and have you on your way in no time flat, whether in a horse powered vehicle or reindeer powered sleigh.
Don’t forget about Uncle Ed’s free Top Notch Service. Even if you don't need an oil change, stop in at any one of our 29 locations so we can check your tires, lights, and top off your fluids to make sure your car is ready to travel over river and through the woods.
Uncle Ed’s is open Christmas Eve at 8 AM. We will be closed Christmas Day so our employees can celebrate with their families.
